The Big Blue Chassis The Complete System
Big Blue is a general purpose micro-programmable machine designed to be programmed to emulate most any computer instruction set. Currently the machine is programmed to emulate the PDP-11 / 34 mini-computer. The Big Blue hardware includes the micro-programmable engine, a 4 Mega-Byte memory, hardware Memory Management Unit (MMU), Dual DMA UNIBUS controller, integrated Video Terminal with multi-device boot options, and the power supplies.
