Libella — Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Libella handles information. Libella is provided by ANDREI KAZIALETSKI, trading as AVKSoft. Privacy questions can be sent to libella@iamavk.info. No postal address is required to contact us.
Documents and local data
Libella is designed as an offline PDF/DjVu reader. Imported documents are copied into app-managed local storage and processed locally. Documents, library metadata, bookmarks and reading positions are not uploaded to AVKSoft servers or AVKSoft cloud services. Libella has no AVKSoft account system and no proprietary cloud synchronization or backend.
Apple or Google operating-system or cloud backups may include application data according to the user's platform and account settings. Those backups are outside AVKSoft's direct control.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
For Libella specifically, there are no ads and no AVKSoft analytics or tracking used to profile reading behavior. Document and reading activity is not used for advertising. AVKSoft does not sell personal data.
Store purchases
Libella may communicate with the Apple App Store or Google Play for product information, localized pricing, purchase initiation, purchase restoration or recovery, and determining whether a Pro entitlement is active. Apple and Google process payments under their own terms and privacy policies. AVKSoft does not receive or store payment card details. Apple App Store and Google Play purchases are separate, and Libella has no account or backend that transfers purchases between stores. Store availability and recovery behavior should be confirmed with the relevant store setup.
Support communications
The app does not require personal contact details. If you voluntarily email support, AVKSoft may receive your email address, message contents, device/OS/app-version information, screenshots, and files or documents you attach. This information is used to respond to support requests and diagnose reported problems, not for advertising. Please avoid sending confidential or sensitive documents unless necessary. Support correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain relevant support records, or comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion at libella@iamavk.info.
Sharing
AVKSoft does not sell personal data or share documents or reading activity with advertisers or data brokers. Apple and Google may process information in connection with their store, operating-system, payment and backup services. Email infrastructure providers necessarily process support correspondence. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
Retention and deletion
Local app-managed data remains on the device or in app storage. Deleting a document removes the app-managed copy according to the app's behavior. Uninstalling normally removes Libella's local app data, but original files may remain at their source location and operating-system or cloud backups may have their own retention.
Privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction or objection where applicable, and may complain to a supervisory authority. In Poland, this includes the Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO). Contact libella@iamavk.info.
Children's privacy
Libella has no account, advertising, or behavioral analytics/profile system. This policy makes no unsupported age-certification claim.
Security
AVKSoft uses reasonable measures appropriate to the information handled, but no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to this policy
